Proper Parenting: The Best Lesson of All? Part 1

By: Ian D Wright

No true parent would ever declare that they are perfect. No matter how much we try, it would never happen. There is no real one formula to raising children, it is our instincts and beliefs that guides us in our duties in being a good parent. Even the most caring mother and indulgent father make a mistake sometimes especially when it comes to nurturing children. A few families suffer from the generation difference with the children and this is the cause of the problem, especially in communication.

The fortunate news is that children, parents and families, and generally most people, are flexible. Well, it is acceptable that parents can't wish away the worst parenting moments, like quarreling, shouting, and yelling contests with your children. But with a small bit of patience in approaching your children's attention and behavior, you will turn the embarrassing situation around and everyone from the family will benefit from those said experiences and maybe learn a lesson or two.

Even parenting professionals say that they have also committed some errors when it comes to their children. Some of the adults also wish that they would have pressed rewind in terms of their parental performance. But don't make light of these experiences for they are the ones that should shape you to become better parents.

Nobody is without fault. Even parenting professionals who are not definitely flawless parents. But their experiences and the lessons they received from their misjudgments are what they give you. Admittedly, parenting is one of the most difficult jobs on the earth. It has the largest responsibility and a huge degree of patience involved.

Opting to be a amazing parent doesn't necessarily mean that you will offer your child toys; just allow them to be happy. A superior parent should know how to handle a situation in the right way so that it will not create a mess around the family. And most of all, a good parent can shape and mold their child into an individual who is a productive member of the community.
